South East Cabinet In The Community

The South East Cabinet In The Community meeting took place at Club Baize, Beighton on Wednesday 25^th November 2015.  The cabinet members responded to questions from the public relating to:

• Support for Bizzy Bee’s
• Queries relating to HS2
• Rubbish and litter issues
• The lack of parks in Beighton
• The lack of Youth work in Beighton
• The lack of support and limited services for post 16’s with special needs
• The impact of welfare reform on vulnerable residents
• The improvement on ecology on roadside verges

There was also a discussion around how the councillors can engage better with local residents.   The South East Cabinet In The Community meeting was the second of seven meetings programmed in Sheffield allowing local residents to debate various issues both local and citywide with the cabinet.
