One in ten homes asked to complete new housing survey

Almost one in ten Sheffield households are being asked to complete a survey to help better understand individual residents’ situations and their future requirements.

The Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University is carrying out the survey.  It has written to around 24,000 households asking them to complete the survey online or request a paper version.

Three prizes of £100 shopping vouchers are up for grabs for those completing the survey.

Councillor Jim Steinke, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods and Community Safety at Sheffield City Council said: “We use information about people’s current housing situation, and their plans for the future to develop housing plans and policies that meet the needs of all residents, so it’s really important that people complete the survey.

“I’d like to thank everyone in advance for their help with this.”

Letters will land on people’s doorsteps from Tuesday 10 July and the survey closes on 30 July.
